The ACE recommended credits, combined with results of CLEP and/or DANTES exams taken, can significantly shorten the time frame for reaching degree completion.

At the Graduate level, transfer credit may be awarded for the successful completion of Professional Military Education programs of study such as Intermediate Level Education, Joint Special Operations University (JSOU), Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation (WHINSEC),  and the Army War College.
